Ghost town Pripyat

Before the Chernobyl disaster the town of Pripyat was home to approximately 50 000 inhabitants. Shortly after the explosion at the power plant it was decided that all residents of Pripyat must evacuate. They were given two hours to gather their belongings, and they were initially told they would be evacuated for three days only. However, to this day, the town is uninhabitable.
